Andreas Kimmig

Andreas Kimmig studied industrial engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). After graduating in 2017, Mr. Kimmig started as a research assistant at the Institute for Information Management in Engineering (IMI) with his research focus on digital twins and machine learning artificial intelligence methods. He led national and international projects in the area of platform and AI development and is currently leading the AI-department at IMI. Mr. Kimmig is also managing director of the start-up agitum, a spin-off from IMI.
